About Me

Hi, I’m Bradley Moyle. I’m a natural stress head, chronic overthinker, big ideas person, retail worker, Inclusion & Belonging Champion, and future marketing student at Torrens University.

If you need the TL;DR version, scroll to the end.

I’ve always been a bit obsessed with brands. Not just logos and colours, but the whole thing. Why some brands feel instantly recognisable, why certain campaigns stick in your head, why people become weirdly loyal to one company, and why one tiny change to packaging can somehow spark a full internet debate.

I’m also annoyingly good at remembering ads.

One of my favourite ad series so far is Westpac’s “Double You” and “Double Up” campaigns, and yes, the theme songs still live in my head rent free. The funny part? I’m not even a Westpac customer.

That’s basically how my brain works with marketing. I’ll see a social media trend and immediately think, “that brand could absolutely use this,” then start mentally building the campaign before I’ve even finished scrolling.

I’m also definitely a bit brand loyal. Once I like a brand, I tend to really like it. I notice the design, tone of voice, customer experience, advertising and all those tiny details that make a brand feel like more than just a product. I’m already ridiculously brand loyal to Torrens University and I haven’t even started studying there yet, so make of that what you will.

When I’m not working on creative projects, I work in retail. That means I get to see customer behaviour, branding and marketing play out in real life every day. What people notice, what they completely walk past, what gets their attention and what makes a customer experience actually feel good.

I’m also an Inclusion & Belonging Champion at work, which gives me another little outlet for my marketing brain. I get to help create posters, information, team communications and awareness material around different inclusion initiatives and events. So yes, give me an important message that needs communicating clearly and let me make it look good? My marketing brain is very happy.

It’s also shown me that communication isn’t just about making something look nice. You have to think about who is going to see it, what they need to know, how much information they’ll actually read and how you can make the message feel approachable. That’s something I’ve really enjoyed learning through the role.

Outside of work, I’m usually out and about, taking photos, designing something, building a website, or falling down a very specific rabbit hole about a campaign, rebrand, customer experience decision or some oddly niche piece of brand history.

Creatively, I like working across photography, branding, digital design, websites and visual communication. I love projects where I can mix strategy with creativity and take something from “random idea in my head” to something that actually feels real.

That could mean building a mock brand like Splash Soda, creating a black and white photography series like A State Apart, experimenting with a website, or starting a completely new project because I had one thought at 11:30pm and apparently decided it needed to become a whole thing.

Photography is another big part of what I enjoy, especially black and white photography. I like how removing colour makes you notice light, shape, texture, people and atmosphere differently. It’s another form of storytelling, which is probably why it connects so naturally with my interest in branding and marketing.

Next year, I’m planning to study marketing at Torrens University, which feels like the right next step for me. I want to learn more about branding, strategy, campaigns, consumer behaviour and the thinking that sits behind the marketing we see every day.

I definitely do not have everything figured out yet, and that’s kind of the fun part. A lot of this portfolio is me experimenting, learning, changing my mind, trying new things and seeing where ideas go.

So, that’s me. Retail worker, Inclusion & Belonging Champion, photographer, future marketing student, overthinker, brand loyalist, serial rabbit hole explorer and someone who probably has way too many tabs open at any given time.

And if any brands happen to be reading this, hit me up. I’ll probably already have ideas.

Thanks for checking out my portfolio. Have a look around, explore some of the projects, and maybe fall down a rabbit hole with me.

TL;DR: I’m Bradley. I work in retail, I’m an Inclusion & Belonging Champion, I love photography, and I’m heading to Torrens University to study marketing.

I’m slightly obsessed with brands, advertising and why people connect with certain businesses. I remember ads way too well, notice tiny branding details, and regularly see a social media trend and immediately start thinking about which brand could use it.

I also love creating things. That could be a photography series, a mock brand, a website, a poster, or a completely unnecessary project that started because I had one random idea.

I’m interested in the mix between creativity, strategy, customer experience and storytelling, and I’m basically using this portfolio to document what I’m making, what I’m learning, and where all these rabbit holes take me.

Also, yes, I’m already brand loyal to Torrens before I’ve even started there.

And if you’re a brand reading this, hit me up. I’ll probably have thoughts.
